Unwanted Water in the Basement in GTA Homes

We have had some water damage in our home. Does insurance cover water that comes in through the foundation and window wells?

Hi Stanley,

I wish I had better news for you but insurance does not cover seepage. You can call your broker to know 100% but any time water comes in through the foundation or windows, it will not be covered.
This is precisely why we are proud to offer great financing rates to our customers. These damages can happen unexpectedly and leave you in a financial bind.

Preventing your home from possibly seepage issues is a must! The last thing you want is to find yourself dealing with an uncovered insurance loss. It can put you out of pocket and cause a lot of stress. That is why we at Canada's Restoration Services have put in place the financing options and work with each individual on what they can afford and how we can accommodate!

Water damage in Toronto can be more common than anticipated! Agreed with Ms.Campbell, so glad I found out about this first hand!

I'm so glad I came across this info....it's such a drag knowing that insurance companies won't cover this level of water damage, especially with all the flooding incidences in Toronto the last couple of years caused by storms. I cant prevent the amount of water damage caused by flooding but it's good to know there are financing options :)
